Rug underlay is a very important part of keeping your rug in the best possible condition. By stopping the rug from moving when being walked upon not only do you keep the rug in place and make it safer from trips and slips but you also protect it. By keeping the rug in place no additional wear and tear is stressed upon the knots or foundation of your piece. This is essential as over time if not cared for the knots will fray and damage causing you to loose the pile of your rug. We choose an unobtrusive, thin rug underlay that has no glue or adhesive residue. It can be moved and used again and again without fear of damage to the rug or the flooring underneath. Our rug underlay can also be laid by us should you need help with large or over-sized rugs. Every piece is cut to order, leaving roughly one inch around the border so it cannot be seen, leaving you with a beautiful, cared for rug.
